WoodOne Ramen is tucked away in a small stall at the Yellow Green Farmers’ Market, but don’t judge this book by its cover. Despite the modest size of the kitchen, the chef manages to pack a flavorful punch into each and every bowl of ramen. Stop in between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday to try the Japanese fare for yourself.
The menu, like the space, is relatively simple. That should make it easy to choose your meal! You can’t go wrong with the signature tonkotsu ramen, which features a classic broth and tender meat along with traditional fixings, a soft-boiled egg and a medley of veggies. Other ramen broths include spicy miso, curry, and shoyu. Prefer to skip the meat? WoodOne boasts a couple of vegan options, including the tomato ramen and Sapporo miso ramen. You can also skip the soup and try the Japanese curry rice instead.
